Another thing you should really take care of is to optimize your site for all the internet browsers or at least the main ones like Internet Explorer and Firefox. Make sure that all your links work and if you have pictures which show relevant content of your site, make sure you make alternative tags for them (you can define images by alt=text goes here). Now, once you are happy with your design and content you are ready to publish it to the world.

The first thing you will want to do is to submit it to as many search engines as possible. I would advise you to make it yourself. Go to the main ones like Google, MSN, and Yahoo and submit them. It will eventually take some time for them to list you, but they will, dont worry!

While waiting, you should try to make as many good back links to your site as possible. Sign up for forums, make a blog, visit chats, negotiate with other pages about posting your link or banner to their site and watch your website traffic increase daily. The more back links from high ranking pages you have, the higher you will rank in search engines yourself. One of the things I would advise you to do is to crate a mailing list, and email your news to all your subscribers. Always treat your subscribers with respect; you want them to invest in your business. You should always try to build up a trustful relationship with them.

If this still doesnt bring the wanted number of visitors to your site, you might want to get with some PPC programs (Pay Per Click) programs like Googles AdWords or "Text Link Ads." Those campaigns can be very successful for your business but also very expensive so before engaging into one, make sure you know exactly what you want out of it.
